In February 2002, the Problem Stock Exchange
publicly introduced a documentary video film on its establishment and
the first months of its business operation. The documentary features
all the important events, with the activities of the Exchange on the
Internet presented in more detail.
The
twelve-minute video was created in collaboration of the Department
of Audio and Visual Communication of Problemarket.com, Forum
Ljubljana and Kregar Digital
Videoproduction.
Its
first showing took place on 14 February 2002 at the ARCO 02
- one of the biggest Spanish and Hispanic American fairs of contemporary
art, in the grand hall of "Feria de Madrid" in Spain; next
occurred in the Städel Museum in Frankfurt in
the frame of Manifesta 4 - European Biennial of Contemporary
Art . The documentary was broadcast four times on the Open
Channel Offenbach in Germany, in the net.culture.club
Mama in Zagreb, Croatia, and by the Greek National
TV in Athens.
The Slovenian premiere was on 11 September 2002 at the Cultural
and Congress Center Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana during the
presentation of the Problemarket.com Annual Report.
The
documentary is available in several formats and will be soon presented
on the Problem
Stock Exchange web site.
The
Problem Stock Exchange also plan to shoot a sequel to the documentary,
covering its business operations in 2002, with particular emphasis on
international activity and opening of new departments.
