                  The unpublished work Generalitá by Janez Janša, Janez Janša, Janez Janša – conceived in September 2007, immediately after the legal name change of the 3 Slovenian artists into Janez Janša (the name of the then economic-liberal and conservative Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia) – will be on display at the Italian Institute of Culture in Slovenia and at the Italian Pavilion as part of an event curated by Vittorio Sgarbi within the frame of the 54th International Art Exhibition Venice Biennale for the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of Unified Italy.

 The event has been realised by the coordinator of the Italian Institutes of Culture Francesca Valente, for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Pavilion thanks to a joint initiative of the Direzione Generale per la Promozione del Sistema Paese, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Italian Ministry of Culture.

 On 1 June 2011, during the opening ceremony at the Italian Institute of Culture in Slovenia, the preview of the new work Ceci n’est pas Janez Janša by Janez Janša, Janez Janša, Janez Janša will be screened. The premiere of this work will take place in the fall at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina at the exhibition Un-proper Names curated by Miško Šuvaković.
